What is Hook and Slice on Ice?

This is the Cloquet Rotary Club's annual fund raising event. It consists of regional sponsors setting up a one-of-a-kind 18 hole golf course on Chub Lake in Carlton. Participants play through this challenging course with their choice of golf equipment for a unique game of ice golf.

The course is set on top the  ice of Chub Lake in Carlton, where the "greens" are groomed by plowing snow, recycled Christmas trees are used to line the fairways and tee boxes are decorated by regional businesses.  (View our sponsors here)

Participants in the past have consisted of people of all ages playing the ice golf course. They have played with everything from a hockey stick and tennis ball to an actual golf club and golf ball.  (Check out our pictures from past Hook and Slice on Ice events!)
